Extremity Adjusting
Available in Upper Arlington & Powell
Helping You Move Better From Head to Toe
When your wrist aches after a long typing session, or your knee starts acting up on the soccer field, it’s easy to think the problem is just that one spot. But pain in a single joint—whether it’s your shoulder, elbow, ankle, or hip—can ripple out and change the way you move through your whole day. Extremity adjusting is chiropractic care for the joints outside your spine-and we’re happy to offer it at Lane Avenue Wellness Center!

Dr. Jay Villella and Dr. Craig Baniszewski use hands-on adjustments to help restore how these joints move, ease built-up tension, and take pressure off the surrounding muscles and ligaments. If something just doesn’t feel right and you’re looking for a conservative approach before jumping to more invasive options, this is a solid place to start.
Built for Athletes and Everyday Bodies
Dr. Craig sees this all the time with active patients—runners nursing a wonky ankle, hockey players dealing with shoulder strain, pickleball fans whose elbows won’t quit complaining. Repetitive motion and minor injuries add up, and over time your body starts compensating in ways that wear joints down even faster. By improving how a joint aligns and moves, chiropractic care helps your body perform better and reduces the ongoing strain that keeps you sidelined. For tougher or more chronic issues, both doctors may suggest adding cold laser therapy to help speed up comfort and recovery.
A Smart First Step for Desk-Job Pain
If you spend all day typing and your wrists or elbows feel tight, sore, or just plain angry, you’re definitely not alone. A lot of people assume the next step is injections or some kind of procedure, but that’s not always the case. Dr. Jay often finds that small restrictions in the carpal bones of the wrist are creating extra pressure and discomfort. He’ll usually start by checking how things are moving and restoring normal motion, which can make a big difference in how your body feels day to day.
What to Expect When You Come In
Here’s how it works: your first visit is $49 and takes around 30 minutes. We’ll go through your history, do any testing we need (including X-rays if it makes sense), and get a clear picture of what’s going on. On your second visit, we’ll sit down and walk through what we found and what we recommend moving forward—no rushing, just straight talk. We’ve got same-day appointments if you need to get in fast, and we work with insurance.
